You might ask what is a message board? It isn't so complicated after all. A message board is a board where people stick messages for each other. That is the truth. You can see these boards all over your town where you live like in Fred Meyer and at the library.

There are also message boards on the Internet. At my message board you can stick messages to me and to other people who read about Baby Squirrel. To stick a message on an Internet message board is called posting a message. You can post a message about Baby Squirrel or your favorite character. You can also do other things which Mama Jenn talks about below. Please come say "hi" to me on the message board.

Maxwell's online forum does indeed include an area for readers to talk about his characters. There's a space for each of his worlds and he'll read these posts and respond to any questions. His forum also includes a place for parents and kids to share their favorite links to free activities on the web. In addition to these great sections, you'll find a ParentZone on the forum. Here, parents can talk about things like autism, diabetes, allergies and schooling. There are no visiting doctors or big organizations mediating the threads, just honest parent-to-parent banter.
