Family: My Family and Friend Tree

My family is very important to me. I don't like people right away. I have to know them and they have to be so interesting. Then I come to love them. I love people who are my family and friends even though they are not always perfect and even might have some problems. Like I do not like smoking at all. But addiction is very tough and I still love my family and friends who might smoke cigarettes. They try hard to stop and they never smoke around me because of my asthma. Also, sometimes the people I love have to work lots of hours or live far away from me and so I can't play with them as much as I want to. But I still love them.

Unless you work for Windstorm, read lots of books, buy houses or go to see plays, you probably won't know my family and friends. They are all busy people. One way you can meet them is on the Internet. Some of them have websites. I'll add more friends and family later on.

Mama Jenn

Her real name is Jennifer DiMarco and she is the boss of Windstorm Creative. She also writes books for grown ups and poem books. She writes kids' books using a pen name, which is a make-believe name some authors use so readers don't get confused about the different kinds of books they write. She is a really good math teacher and likes to tell me about how she uses charts and algebra at Windstorm every day. She likes to box and work on her computer and build things like a green house. Mama Cris

Her real name is Cris Kier Aoibhinn DiMarco. She is the main worker at Windstorm called the Senior Editor and she writes books for grown ups called novels. Her main job is to talk to the authors who publish books with Windstorm. Mama Cris teaches me history and language arts. I love history so much. Mama Cris loves to play computer games with me that are full of riddles and puzzles instead of fighting. Those are so much fun. She doesn't have a website yet but she has a blog. Grandma Snakes

Before I was born, Grandma Snakes was just Mama Jenn's mom, but now she's a grandma and a mom both. Grandma Snakes moved to live near us when I was really sick with allergies and we found out that my sister, Faith, had Type 1 diabetes. Now Snakes lives just five minutes away and we see her every week or more. She bought a farm across the street from her house. She'll have chickens there. She likes to build things, too, and she's built us an office, an garden room, a rabbit house, and lots of things at her house and on her farm. She used to be a construction worker and then she was a truck driver and now she's just a grandma and a mom and she sells houses for people who need her help. She doesn't have her own website but she works for a really nice lady named Trinette and she has a website with Grandma Snakes right on it. That website is www.gatesrealty.net

Aunt Angela

My Aunt Angela is the best aunt in the whole world. We barely ever get to see her for long because she works really hard selling houses with Snakes and because she is a real actor in plays and movies. One time she was even in a horror movie. Mama Jenn loves to see her in grown up plays but I don't like it so much when Mama Jenn goes out without me. I love it when Aunt Angela comes to our house. She's a grown up but she still plays pirates with me and Faith in our pirate ship and she makes good voices and runs and pretends about monsters and treasure. She really is the best. Mama Jenn calls her Baby Angel and tells us lots of stories about how great she has always been. Faith was born on the same day as Aunt Angela.
